Please join us for GSOLE’s Annual Member Gathering! In the past, we have held this session at CCCC, but this year, we’ll meet online on April 16, 3p EDST. At this session, you’ll have an opportunity to  learn, engage, and contribute.

Learn about GSOLE’s programs, progress, and initiatives. The past year has been challenging. To help our members and the broader writing and literacy communities, we in GSOLE have been busy expanding our services and programs. While there’s still more work to do, we’re eager to showcase the remarkable work GSOLE volunteers have already produced. The first part of the session will present our established and emerging programs.

Engage with colleagues equally passionate about supporting students and fellow instructors. Most of the gathering will involve breakout sessions on different topics. In these sessions, our program leaders will take questions, invite input, and promote dialogue on our core initiatives: the annual online conference, our webinar series, certification courses, publications and resources, and research support. We’ll also have breakout rooms for other topics, including these important “elephants in the Zoom”: accessibility and inclusion, antiracist pedagogies, and personal/professional wellbeing during COVID times.
